Gafsa - lunch 

 

After one and a half hours drive, we arrived at the hotel where we had lunch. Hotel Jugurtha Palace is a five star hotel; the decoration itself was a great experience. Although we were very curious, we were not allowed to see much of the hotel, so we only saw the toilets and the restaurant. However, we found some pictures that clearly show the special layout and clarify why it has five stars.

 

The food consisted of a three course menu which started with a small salad followed by French fries and a piece of chicken fillet. For dessert, you were lucky to get an orange. So the food was nothing to brag about. But it was not a big problem, because we did not have long time to enjoy the food. The waiter took your plate as soon as you had put the last piece in your mouth, so you had to be quickly if you want to enjoy your food.
